About Me
I earned a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Marquette University, and went on to pursue postdoctoral training at Brandeis University. I am a registered psychologist in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, and I am a registrant of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
Although my formal training is in the area of psychology, I have actively pursued, and continue to pursue learning opportunities that extend beyond my chosen discipline. This includes taking part in psychoanalytic societies and contemplative communities, as well as dialoguing with scholars and practitioners across disciplines (philosophy, religion, literature).
I currently live in Victoria, British Columbia. My focus over the past several years has been providing individual psychotherapy to patients in an outpatient capacity. I also offer psychological testing to veterans/RCMP through Veterans Affairs Canada. I provide the above services through a private group practice, C&F Psychology Group. Additionally, I am a clinical instructor as part of University of Victoria's Ph.D. program in clinical psychology.
